@ooana I had a class reunion in the middle of that nonsense (well towards the end) and when one person asked about jabs the organizers laughed and said "if that is what you want we won't stop you but everyone is welcome" Sometimes being from "flyover country" is a good thing

@mmcdonaldlewis She kept preaching about counter culture & it slid into the patriarchy She wanted to be a late 60s hippie SO BAD &that was not my speed. Ironically I stumbled across her on social media about 5 years ago &she has flipped that script entirely. We would be good friends now I think!

@1True_American_ I finished high school in the early 90s but I definitely remember this look. I don't miss the hair but I do miss everything else being natural. I remember thinking extra piercings were kind of gross now I long for that to be the only "extra"
