This is the official Twitter account for the #OklaEd chat, hashtag that brings OK educators together. #OklaEd is not political & promotes constructive dialogue.
#oklaed was started to give Oklahoma educators a place to share information and support each other. We never intended for anti public education organizations across the nation to spam us as they work to segregate our schools.
Everyone in #oklaed needs to donate. We have complained about current leadership & begged others to do something and now is your chance. You can log on give $50 per month and make a huge difference. If that is too much give $25 or even $10 per month. https://t.co/lBVhywS0r1

Regarding school security funding, there is no ambiguity in this statute. SDE did not follow the law in FY24 and that’s what got us in this mess of having $17m in unallocated funds. The law requires the $50m/year be divided equally amongst school districts. That did not happen.
