“WHY IS NSAWAM BEING TARGETED?” — Minority Chief Whip, Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has challenged the government over the proposed relocation of waste from Agbogbloshie to the Nsawam area.
Speaking in Parliament on Friday, he questioned why Amasaman, which already has a major waste treatment facility, was being bypassed in favour of bringing the waste closer to his constituency.
He has called on the Majority Leader to invite the Local Government Minister to Parliament to explain the policy and address the concerns of affected residents. Annoh-Dompreh insists that the people of Nsawam - Adipa deserve answers and will not be intimidated into remaining silent over issues affecting their communities.

The majority leader has to step out of the chamber and call the deputy Attorney General to come and lay his papers. Why is Srem Sia running away from answering questions on the floor of parliament? Come and lay your own papers on the floor of parliament instead of running away.
