KAKAMEGA UPDATE AND PLEA FOR ASSISTANCE:
Case number 1336 of 2024 was the very first case: Magistrate was overly ambitious and gave 30 thousand cash bail. All accused persons are still in remand.
Namely:
Edwin Ochieng, Robert Odhiambo, Wilfred Makale, Mike Muhatia, Ian Masika, Delvin Mboya, Reagan Omwanda, Oscar Kamiti, Redrick Muyukho, Derick Miheso.

Of these Mike Muhatia is a minor.
4 are barely 18.
Their cash bail is 30k each. The Lawyer will ask for a reduction on 1st August or before then if he can get production orders.

The second concerning file is file no 1339 of 2024... where 5 out of 7 charged were minors.Only one minor has afforded bond.

We have the following minors in remand
Bramwel osore, Clinton Majembo, Brighton Munasia and Dan Wanjala.
their cash bail is 5k each.

In 1341 which had ten accused persons, 4 are minors still in holding. Brigham Nandwa, James Munyalu, Elvis Amanayi, Abdul Juma

in 1386 only 2 out of 7 have afforded the 5k cash bail. We have 5 in remand, two minors

in 1378, we have 8 accused persons, only 3 out on bond, the following need help Eric Njomo, Brian Okwisa, Michael Amakhule , Elvis Shikangi and Kefa Obongo.
