🗣️| Abubonsra on the pressure of City Boys moving into the top spot in the League and what it would put onto rivals:
“We know the demands that we have and We are still not top of the league and we want to be better than where we are at the moment.
🔴⚪️ Coach Asante: "What I like about Dodzi Mike is what he does in goal the things he prevents us from, you don’t even see because they don’t happen, because he has anticipated them".
"Courage, character and personality. I love him".
🗣️ Asante on Nurudeen’s finishing:
We tried with our players to make them unpredictable and I’m sure the opponents are looking at us a lot,
He’s got this ability and he trains a lot in many different situations in and around the box, and today he had two brilliant finishes again
Agudey Christopher:
At City Boys Fa, the left back can be one of most central players. When that got introduced it was alien to me.
When you see how well it works it is hard to question it. My choice was to just get on with it and learn and I got to practise it with one of best.
🗣️| Asante Samuel on Zumah Manuel Jnr's form:
“His overall performances and aggression without the ball every time we get to certain areas, you see the skills that he’s developing day in, day out.
“He’s always available and having a great season.”
City Boys Fa fitness update, per Asante Samuel:
🗣️| We have a few still in contention. They’ve been evolving well, so tomorrow we’ll have another training session.
We’re hopeful we’re going to have them back and that we can put a very competitive squad out there.
🗣️| Asante Samuel on Bruce Cedric Paa not being able to stay fit:
“It’s a big concern because he’s such an important player for us and he was getting some momentum at the start of the season and then we lost him for a while.
“Now he is coming back into the squad.
Asante Samuel: “Obviously, we had some big experiences and what we did last season wasn't good. This year, what we’re trying to do is something even better, and we are in the Eastern Cup as well, which is a big step, and our squad is better.
Emmanuel Tabi: “Sometimes, like I say, I am not focused on that (scoring goals) and that’s I think is my mistake. So now, I think I change my mindset and I will be in the box more, and I try everything to score.”
