@SimonMcLeod@KEdge23@MissLauraMarcus Attributing the success of a child (outcome) solely to how much money the parents have or donโt have is such a misguided way of thinking.
@ShakinthatChalk Youโve grossly miscalculated this. Youโre crediting the extra work that parents (both independent&state school parents) put in after school to independent school. Itโs about interest and capacity, nothing to do with the type of school attended. My local state school has a pool!
@samhfinance This sounds more like an incentive to birth children but not necessarily raise them. Might be dangerous to human lives (children) as we know some people will do the unthinkable for money.
@ashiedu_victor Definitely a known side effect but the fear of unwanted pregnancy is far greater than the desire for intimacy since thatโs not the only way to show love to your spouse. ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
@drneiljohnson@BrokenSkiesPG@anaboultertv@dshensmith This is a cohort of parents that you can almost certainly say that they work and pay taxes. Majority of independent school parents are in the higher tax brackets so none of the arguments for VAT makes sense.
@stellacreasy Can we start with how did these children end up in poverty. Root cause analysis?! Just so you know a child who grows up with parent(s) not working and living on benefit will most likely end up that way. Why choose a hard life when you can have it easy living on the state?!
@Jenny_1884@RachelT1722 Donโt bother responding cos regardless of what you say, they wonโt be able to grasp it as they are ideologically driven and donโt understand simple maths and economics.
