@BEMOprepared @bigal56@BramptonFireES@CityBrampton Happy Retirement!!! Sleep rest eat and then I am sure you will be doing a little something that gives you joy. Just go with it. You will love it.
To the reporter who asked if mental health issues of nurses and PSWs meant today’s nurses don’t have the character for this job; to listener to one show who wrote a comment “isn’t that just your job”, I share this raw and loving article written by a PSW. https://t.co/THbU0agEtn
Day 60 for this nurse who stepped out of retirement to support my colleagues and support #Canadians There was a time where I pulled 12hr night no problem but now I am feeling it. But the team I work with, continue to make me #strong and #resilient@redcrosscanada#thisisnursing
Thank you Premier. We look forward to working with you and your team as we collectively manage through the current crisis and prepare for the challenges frontline workers will face in the coming weeks and months including those related to mental health.
However nurses are resilient with strength to bounce back stronger and do this best when we support each other. This year I have never been more proud and honoured to stand and support nurses and know that we will get through this. #OntarioRPNs#nursesrock WeRPN
i just got back from italy & was required to self quarantine in my room for 14 days so my parents ate every meal with me from the hallway. i don’t deserve them :’)
So society’s *real* key workers have just been revealed.
Not the bankers. Not the traders. Not the elite hedge fund managers.
It’s the nurses. The doctors. The delivery drivers. The carers. The porters. The teachers. The shelf stackers. The check out staff.

We ❤️ these beautiful drawings! They're from children who travelled to Canada from #Wuhan, China, and recently completed a quarantine period at CFB Trenton, where they received support from the Red Cross.
