I will repeat this: Baba Ijesha was convicted in a court of law of sexually assaulting a minor. Video evidence formed part of the case against him, and his conviction for the 2021 offences was upheld on appeal.
To this day, there has been no meaningful expression of remorse. Instead, the man publicly doubled down, portraying himself as the victim of a witch hunt.
That is my fundamental problem with him and this campaign to sanitise his image. Where is the accountability?
That is why sensible people should continue to shun him publicly.
Those who departed from us during the slave trade still practice the tradition despite all they went through. Meanwhile the ones at home already left it to embrace the one that was brought to us. I have come to conclusion that the brave ones were sold while they left the lazy a$$
I was actually one of the nurses on duty that day, and I can confirm every word. In fact, the moment she walked into the labor ward, we immediately realized this wasn’t going to be like every other delivery we’d spent years training for. We threw away the fetal monitor, the partograph, the blood pressure cuff, the IV cannula, the emergency trolley, and every obstetrics textbook because, as it turns out, all those things were completely unnecessary.
She simply walked to the bed, looked at the baby and said, “Come out.” The baby respectfully complied within minutes. No contractions to monitor, no cervical examinations, no assessment of fetal position, no concern about the size of the baby or the mother’s pelvis. Apparently none of that has ever mattered. We have all been wasting our time.
Immediately after the delivery, the hospital called an emergency meeting. Every obstetrician, midwife, anesthetist and pediatrician was informed that decades of medical training had been based on misinformation. We have now concluded that prolonged labor, obstructed labor, postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, eclampsia, emergency C-sections and maternal mortality only happen because women failed to renew their gym memberships.
We’ve also contacted medical schools worldwide to remove Obstetrics & Gynecology from their curriculum. Future doctors will no longer learn about parity, cervical dilation, fetal distress, induction of labor, breech presentation, placenta previa, uterine rupture, or any of those outdated concepts. The only lecture remaining is “Stay Fit and Tell the Baby to Come Out.”
We’ve gone a step further and written to the World Health Organization, ACOG, RCOG and every maternity hospital across the globe to stop wasting resources on labor wards. Apparently the solution to childbirth has been sitting in a gym all along.
On behalf of every doctor, nurse, midwife, researcher, and every woman who has ever experienced a difficult or traumatic labor, we sincerely apologize for not realizing sooner that childbirth is actually a fitness competition. Thank you, sir, for correcting centuries of medical science with one tweet. We are forever indebted to you.
Thank you for everything.

Greatest sportsman of all time.
Greatest player in history of the sport.
Today, I experienced one of the most traumatic moments of my life.
I had gone to a friend’s place to lend him my MacBook charger because I stay in Ikorodu his charger had stopped working. After leaving his place and heading home, I was stopped by men who identified themselves as Nigerian police officers. They were not dressed in standard police uniforms, which made the situation even more frightening.
I was forcefully pushed into my car, accused of being a cultist without any evidence, and subjected to intimidation. My phone was searched, I was threatened, and I was repeatedly told that if I did not cooperate, I would be shot, killed, or have my car taken away.
They drove me around to different locations, including from Ikorodu to ketu under a bridge, while continuing to threaten me. Under fear for my life, I was forced to open my banking apps and make transfers. In total, about ₦700,000 was taken from my account through coercion. They wanted me to pay them 5 million which I don’t even have, They also forced me to call friends and demand money from them, insisting that I raise millions of naira despite having committed no crime.
This was not a voluntary transaction. Every action I took was because I genuinely feared for my life.
I am sharing this video because no Nigerian should have to experience this. No one should be threatened with weapons, intimidated, or forced to hand over their hard earned money by people who are supposed to protect them.
I am reporting this incident to the appropriate authorities and financial institutions, and I hope those responsible are identified and held accountable.
Please help me by sharing this until it reaches the right people. This has to stop.

Firstly, Nothing is demonic about our ancestors.
God gave everyone different power, those powers still remain what i and you enjoyed as ypruba till today.
Im a christian, i believe in Jesus christ. However my ancestors are not satan or demonic.
Bigotry against the Yoruba is quietly tolerated, but the second there is a reprisal, everyone suddenly finds their moral compass.
It is not only a double standard, it is weaponised civility used as a tool of social control to silence a targeted group. A classic bullying tactic.
It is not him they are celebrating, it is their hidden act they are celebrating
And they are stylishly mocking everyone that stood for justice
This man wasn’t lied against, HE WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA
We were both in our first year of marriage when her husband who worked in a bank opened a big foodstuff store for her, I was really happy for her but she didn't seem to be as excited as I was and each time I show my happiness, she will be quick to shut it down with "you kuku don't know anything" . I never for once pressed to know what that meant because deep down I know if she wanted to share, I wouldn't need to ask her.
Fast forward to a few years later, the business had expanded so much because her brothers abroad also supported her with funds. Then her husband got laid off and he was at home for some time till he joined her in the shop as a partner.
During this period, I silently watched her lose the little of her spark that was left, she became a totally different person from the vibrant girl I knew from way back. Nothing seemed to excite her again. I couldn't ask her because we both shared the view that 3rd parties in a marriage are like adding petrol to a silent fire.
Then one day, she called and I could hear the tears in her voice, I rushed over and she couldn't hold it again, there was a rumor around the shop that her husband and the sales girl were a thing and when she confronted him, he said " so what? Now that you know, then do your worst, if not that I'm currently not financially buoyant, I would have married her sef".
That was the last straw that broke the camels back. She stopped going to the shop completely, he now had no reason to hide his affair anymore and everyone now refer to the girl as her co wife. The shame almost killed her.
Then her traveling papers and that of her kids were ready after 7months of silently planning her exit. Then came another problem, she needed him to sign for the kids to go with her, this man refused. Told her to go if she wanted but his kids goes no where. I watched her go through another wave of pains.
The sales girl stopped coming to shop after a while and got married the very next month. She was apparently in a LDR and was just using him to cool off.
Baba, came begging and asking for a fresh start, the shop was now almost empty. He agreed to sign the documents if she will add him to the plan and they can all move together as a family. He was willing to sell all had left to make the move with her.
2Months later, I received a WhatsApp message from her, it was a picture of her in the UK. She left without telling any of us. The husband also got the picture I got.
She had taken the kids on holiday to her Sister's place. She left them at her sister's for over a year and just got reunited with them last week.
We were on Facetime last week and I cried tears of joy on her behalf. She got her spark back and it's shining so brightly.
Again, the gift of siblings is the best you can give your child. They are orphans but her siblings moved the rock for her and made sure she was never alone. I shudder to think what would become of her without them.
I really thank God that I am Yoruba
and I really thank God that my Yoruba mother didn’t marry a man from another tribe but married a Yoruba man, modupe lowo ori mi 😭👏🧎🙏😭
Guys!! It’s cold very outside! I just stepped outside my house to feel it. And if it’s this cold in Lagos, it’s colder in Ibadan and much even colder in the bushes! These children and their teachers are shivering right now! This is their 27th night! God!😭😭
