I help teachers & school leaders use AI to create better lessons, stronger learning resources & safer teaching practices | Digital Learning | Development
Are you still sleeping on TeacherOn? π
Let me put you on to a platform that has helped me connect with students for online tutoring.
Today, I got another student from TeacherOn!
And one of my students is based in the USA and pays me five figures in naira per hour.
Yes, you read that correctly. That's my personal experience.
If you're a teacher looking to earn from your knowledge, especially by teaching students internationally, here's how I'd approach TeacherOn.
1. Create your teacher profile.
Don't just register and disappear. Clearly state the subjects you teach, the age groups you work with, your experience, and what makes your teaching different.
2. Choose a niche.
Don't try to teach everything to everybody. Are you good at Biology? Mathematics? English? IGCSE? GCSE? SAT preparation?
Pick your strengths and position yourself around them.
3. Consider buying coins.
TeacherOn uses coins for certain tutor outreach activities. You can start with a small budget, but check the current pricing and how many coins you need before spending. Don't invest money you cannot afford to lose.
4. Make your profile stand out.
Explain your teaching approach. Highlight relevant experience, qualifications and results you can genuinely demonstrate. Give parents a reason to trust you.
5. Check for opportunities consistently.
If you can't afford premium features, don't assume you have no options. Check the platform regularly, review relevant student requests, and respond strategically when suitable opportunities arise.
6. Be patient and keep improving.
You may not get a student immediately. Your results will depend on your subject, profile, competition, pricing and the opportunities available.
Online tutoring is not magic money. You need to be good at what you teach, communicate your value and deliver results.
But please, don't keep waiting for opportunities while doing nothing to position yourself for them.
Your knowledge can become an income stream. Start positioning yourself.
Have you tried TeacherOn before? Tell me about your experience in the comments. And if you're just starting out, what subject do you want to teach?
Let's talk! π

π£οΈ : Debby, do you mean Ai should teach students or replace tutors?
Me: No way! Ai is a tool, teachers should use it to make workflow easier and always do due diligence on the outputs from Ai.
It isnβt to take away educators responsibility please, donβt abuse the opportunity.
What if your students could SEE the science, not just read about it?
Imagine teaching distillation without relying entirely on textbook diagrams and lengthy explanations.
I used AI to create a distillation storyboard that breaks the process into visual steps, helping learners follow what happens as a mixture is heated, vapour forms, condensation takes place, and the liquid is collected.
But this goes beyond creating an attractive classroom visual.
It demonstrates how AI can help educators turn abstract concepts into more engaging, structured learning experiences.
For teachers: Imagine creating clearer lesson slides, visual explanations and classroom resources without spending hours designing every element from scratch.
For school founders: Imagine equipping your teachers with the skills to use AI responsibly to improve lesson preparation, instructional resources and the overall learning experience.
The opportunity is not to replace teachers with AI.
It is to equip teachers with better tools, while keeping professional judgment, scientific accuracy and the needs of learners at the centre.
And this is where schools need to start paying attention.
AI integration should not stop at giving teachers access to tools. Teachers need the training to use those tools effectively, critically and responsibly.
I work at the intersection of education, AI integration and digital learning, helping educators and school leaders explore practical ways to bring AI into teaching and learning.
If you're a school founder exploring AI integration, or a teacher who wants to create better learning resources, let's talk.
Send me a DM. Let's explore what practical AI integration could look like in your school or classroom.

@Mohamedour7 Yes, that is why thereβs a Teacherchevk at the end of the slide, I couldnβt input it her on twitter because I could only drop 4 images. Thank you for the observation π€
What if I told you AI could help you turn a lesson topic into a well-structured learning resource for five students? π
Let me show you how I did it.
In this example, I took a lesson topic, developed a prompt, and used AI to help create lesson slides designed around the learning needs of the students.
But here's what matters: I wasn't just trying to make the slides look beautiful.
I wanted the content to serve a purpose, communicate the topic clearly, and support the learning objectives.
In this post, I'll share:
π The lesson topic
π The prompt I used
π The AI-generated lesson content
π The final lesson slides
This is how I approach AI in education: start with the learning need, use the right tools, and create something purposeful.
Because AI in education should be about more than aesthetics. It should be about making teaching and learning more effective.
School owners, teachers, and EdTech founders, would this kind of workflow be useful to your team?
Let's talk. π

My friend, who is also a professional in EdTech and education, saw what I created with AI and was genuinely surprised. π₯Ήβ€οΈ
And I couldn't help thinking: **imagine how many educators and school owners would react if they truly understood what's possible with AI in the classroom.**
But there's something that bothers me.
Our students are already encountering AI. Social media is exposing them to it. Their friends are talking about it. Many have phones and devices, and some are already using these tools.
But are we teaching them *how* to use AI responsibly?
Are we showing them when to use it, when NOT to use it, how to verify information, and why AI shouldn't replace their own thinking?
Because if schools don't provide that guidance, students may learn to use these tools without understanding their limitations or consequences.
**We cannot ignore AI in education and assume our students aren't using it.**
We need to prepare teachers, educate students, and help schools understand that AI literacy is becoming an important part of learning.
AI is a tool. What matters is how we teach people to use it.
Honestly, I need to take a break from this topic today. π The more I talk about AI in education, the more passionate I become!
But this conversation is too important to stop having.
**School owners, educators, are we preparing our students for the world they're already living in?**

Don't hire me if all you want is AI aesthetics.
Don't hire me just because you want a beautiful AI-generated video.
Don't hire me just because you want lesson slides filled with colourful designs that look good but don't support learning.
And don't hire me just because AI is trending and you want to jump on the bandwagon.
Hire me when you want your content to do more than look good.
When you want AI-powered educational content that supports learning objectives, simplifies complex concepts, and helps teachers deliver better lessons.
When you want AI-generated advertising content that speaks to your target audience, connects with their pain points, and gives them a reason to choose your brand.
When you want to explore how AI can solve real problems in your school, business, or content workflow.
Because for me, AI isn't just about generating beautiful images or videos.
It's about understanding the problem, creating the right solution, and making sure the output serves a purpose.
A beautiful lesson slide that doesn't support the learning objective has missed the point.
An attractive advert that doesn't connect with the right audience has more work to do.
And an AI workflow that adds complexity instead of saving time needs to be rethought.
I don't just want to help you create with AI. I want to help you create with purpose.
That's the difference.
If you're a school owner, EdTech founder, or brand looking for AI-powered educational solutions or creative content that serves a clear business objective, let's talk.

**Schools, stop playing small. Educators, stop playing small!**
Your growth matters. Your teachers' growth matters. And the knowledge you invest in your teachers eventually finds its way into your classrooms.
You want excellence? Then invest in the people responsible for delivering it.
Don't wait until 2030 to realise that you should have started preparing your teachers for the future today.
I'm putting something together, and in my next post, I'll share a **sample AI-in-education workshop outline** so you can see what this kind of training could look like for your school.
School owners, educators, keep your eyes open. π
Let's stop talking about excellence and start investing in it!
#AIinEducation #TeacherDevelopment #SchoolLeadership #EducationConsultant
**What exactly are you afraid of?**
School owners, let me tell you something: **the growth of your teachers is the growth of your school.**
When your teachers grow in knowledge, your students benefit. When your students perform better, parents notice. They stay, they trust your school, and they refer other parents.
That's how you build a school that grows beyond its beautiful buildings.
You want excellence? Invest in the people responsible for delivering it.
Imagine dedicating just one session every month to teacher development, practical training, and knowledge sharing.
Yes, teachers can learn independently. But when you create a culture of continuous learning, you show them that growth is part of the school's standard, not just an individual choice.
And the best part? You build a team that can deliver quality even when you're not physically present.
**You pour into your teachers. Your teachers pour into your students. Your students produce results. And those results build your school's reputation.**
It's a cycle that makes sense!
What pains me is that some schools may not embrace these opportunities until 2030, when others have already spent years improving.
Don't wait until you have to catch up.
**The question isn't whether your teachers need to grow. It's whether you're willing to invest in that growth.**
School owners, what does teacher development look like in your school?

**Dear School Owners, Principals, and Education Leaders: Let's Bring AI Into the Classroom. ππ€**
Your teachers don't need another conversation about how AI is changing education.
They need to know what to *do* with it.
How can AI help a teacher prepare engaging lesson slides?
How can it support the creation of worksheets, quizzes, and differentiated learning activities?
How can teachers use AI to simplify complex concepts, create visual explanations, and develop simulations that make learning more engaging?
And just as importantly, how can they do all this without compromising accuracy, professional judgement, or students' privacy?
These are the conversations I want to bring into our schools.
As an educator with experience teaching online, and through my ongoing development in education consultancy and AI-powered content creation, I'm passionate about helping teachers discover practical ways to integrate AI into teaching and learning.
**I'm opening conversations with schools, tutoring organisations, and education-sector leaders interested in AI-in-education training.**
My proposed workshops can help educators learn how to:
π Use AI to support lesson planning and resource development.
π Create engaging presentations, worksheets, quizzes, and visual learning materials.
π Adapt learning activities to different student needs.
π Explore AI-generated videos and simulations as teaching aids.
π Use AI responsibly while keeping the teacher at the centre of the learning process.
My goal isn't to teach teachers to depend on AI.
It's to help them use it thoughtfully, save preparation time, and create better learning experiences for their students.
I would love to collaborate with schools and education organisations interested in practical, hands-on AI training for their teachers.
**If you're a school owner, principal, or education leader looking to introduce AI into your school's teaching and learning practices, let's talk.**
You can send me a message here on LinkedIn, and we can discuss a workshop tailored to your educators' needs.
Let's prepare our teachers for the future of education, one practical step at a time. π

**Do you believe I created this lesson slide with AI in just 5 minutes? π**
The illustration? AI.
The labelling? AI.
The visual presentation? AI.
But the educational thinking behind it? **THAT'S THE TEACHER.**
I knew what I wanted to teach, what my students needed to understand, and how I wanted to present the concept.
AI simply helped me bring that knowledge to life.
Imagine creating lesson slides, labelled diagrams, worksheets, and quizzes in minutes instead of spending hours searching for resources online.
Of course, AI can make mistakes. That's why the teacher's knowledge matters. You review the information, verify its accuracy, and ensure the resources meet your students' needs.
**AI is a tool. The teacher is still the brain behind the learning.**
And honestly, school owners, what is your plan for the future?
Education is evolving. Are you equipping your teachers with the skills to use AI responsibly and effectively, or are you still relying entirely on methods from 2010 and 2015?
Traditional teaching methods still have value. But refusing to explore better tools is not a strategy.
I'm passionate about helping schools integrate AI practically into teaching and learning.
**School owners and education leaders, are you preparing your teachers for the future? Let's talk.**
