You think the clients paying for these projects give a fuck about all the “premium” design standards you guys hype on here? They want something their end users can understand easily, navigate easily and actually use.

Sometimes you’ll send a client 3 designs, with one clearly looking more polished to you, and somehow the “wack” one is the one they pick because it makes more sense to the people they’re actually designing for.

Not every design has to win an award on Twitter. If the end users understand it, the client loves it and it does the job, who are we impressing?
