Today on Talks with Ubi Franklin, I’m taking you back into the studio and sharing some random stories behind the music — how Gwagwalada , Sexy Mama, and a few other records were actually created.

Just some behind-the-scenes memories of the sessions, the ideas, the moments, and how some of these songs came together.

Do you know that at a point during the conflict between Peter, Paul and Jude, Paul told Peter something that Since he was always saying that his songs are not being accepted and that it is only Paul’s songs Jude takes, let them do it this way;

For example, if P-Square wanted to release a 10-song album, Peter should contribute five songs and Paul also contribute five songs.

Peter would write, compose and produce his five songs himself, and Paul would do the same with his.

If Peter wanted Paul to feature on any of his songs, he could invite him. If Paul wanted Peter on any of his songs, he could also invite him. Either of them could also feature other artistes on their individual tracks.

The songs would then be compiled and released as a P-Square album, keeping the brand intact.

Their performances would also remain joint.

If Peter got a show, he could call Paul, they perform together and share proceeds 50/50.

If Paul got a show, same arrangement which is they perform together and share 50/50.

Then comes the most important part which is about royalties.

Each person would retain the copyright and royalties for the songs they individually created.

So if Peter wrote and produced five songs, he earns the royalties from those five songs.

If Paul wrote and produced five songs, he earns the royalties from his own.

In other words, Peter would have the opportunity to create his own songs, produce them, release them under the P-Square brand, perform them as P-Square, and still earn directly from his work.

Yet, according to Jude, Peter refused this arrangement.

Now let me understand something.

This is the same person who said he was being sidelined.

The same person who complained that his songs were being rejected.

Now you are being offered a structure where you can create your own songs, control your own production, choose your own features, release under the P-Square brand, perform as P-Square, and still keep your royalties.

And you still say no?

Why?

What exactly was the problem with that arrangement?

📱If you're unable to create an Apple Account due to phone number verification issues, try this.

- Select the correct Time Zone for your location.
- Make sure the date and time are accurate.

2. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.

- Turn Location Services on.

3. Go to Settings > General > Language & Region.

- Set the Region to the country you're currently living in.

4. Restart your iPhone and try verifying your phone number again. It should work.

▫️📱 If the message you're getting is "Your account cannot be created at this time," try this:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Scroll. Then click on Apps.

But if it still doesn't work, try these additional steps:

- Connect to a strong Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Turn Airplane Mode on for about 30 seconds, then turn it off.
- You can also update your iPhone to the latest iOS version available.

- If you've made too many verification attempts, wait 24 hours before trying again because Apple may temporarily block further attempts.

- If your phone number was previously used on another Apple Account, you may need to remove it from that account or contact Apple Support.

- If you're unable to verify the number through your iPhone, try signing in throuh another person's iPhone or Apple device.

- You can also try to sign in through Apple's website (account . apple . com OR icloud . com). You can do this on any other device, whether iPhone or even Android or a laptop. Try using an incognito or private tab, in fact.

After trying these steps, let me know if it works.
