REALITY CHECK: These images are from Nigeria's capital city.
We've heard praises about development in Abuja, but sanitation remains a crisis. While high-end areas like Maitama stay clean, peri-urban communities like Bwari and Kuje face serious neglect.
One resident told us: "We've heard a lot of praise about the minister talking about how much he is working in the city, but there seems to be a neglect of sanitation... the city largely remains dirty."
These aren't just pictures. They're evidence of a two-tier system where your postcode determines if you get basic services.
Our URBAN DETOX PROJECT is documenting these realities to push for inclusive waste management that serves ALL Nigerians, not just the privileged few.
Change starts with truth. And this is the truth.

The housing struggle is REAL, and it's affecting everyday Nigerians trying to find affordable shelter. When middlemen become barriers to basic needs, we have a systemic problem that needs addressing.
