🥤 Imagine you have one big bottle of water

Suppose the whole world wants to buy Coca-Cola shares.

If everyone buys and sells in one big marketplace, there is a huge pool of buyers and sellers.

That’s deep liquidity.

Now imagine that instead, the Coca-Cola shares are split into 5 different buckets:

🪣 Bucket 1 — Ethereum
🪣 Bucket 2 — Solana
🪣 Bucket 3 — BNB Chain
🪣 Bucket 4 — another blockchain
🪣 Bucket 5 — traditional stock market

Each bucket has some buyers and sellers.

The total amount of money may be huge, but it is spread across different places.

That’s fragmented liquidity.

💡 So,Why is that a problem?

Let’s say there is $100 million available to trade a tokenized asset .

If all $100m is in one marketplace:

Someone wants to sell $5m : plenty of buyers → easy trade.

But if the $100m is scattered:

Ethereum: $30m
Solana: $25m
BNB Chain: $20m
Other chains: $25m

Someone holding the Solana version may not be able to easily access the $30m sitting on Ethereum.

So you can have a lot of money in the system, but not enough money in the exact place where you need it.

That’s the fragmentation problem.

From my house to Ibadan Opay Office at Akala Express all express my complain for them, the Customer service lady I met there Says "Opay Cannot do anything" to assist me. I felt like crying 😭

It has been 12 days now, Opay said I should go and get Court Order
