π¨ For those asking:
I built a house in the village years ago, but that was for my parents. I am glad I did.
This yuletide, everywhere will be overwhelmingly busy back home as we all know, hence the reason I have always considered to lodge in a hotel which is just a simple logic everyone should understand.
I currently have no plans to build a personal house back home. I have a very high taste for quality, so building a massive duplex in the villa just to sleep there once in a year doesnβt make any financial sense to me. I see that as capital that can be put to work and generate returns for many years such as acquiring properties here in Lagos for shortlet rentals.
Instead of building a house back home at this stage of my life, I continue to invest in agriculture, mostly perennials, and I am very happy doing so.
I concede to the fact that regions where younger people delay building homes, structural development may be slow, however, what matters more to me right now is growing my finances.
I MULTIPLY WHAT I MANAGE AND I MANAGE TO MULTIPLY.
Everyone has a preference and this is mine.
It would be a lie if I tell you that I havenβt been under intense pressure by my parents and kindreds to build a house back in the village but na me no gree, I get coconut head, I drink out my own bottle while I take control of my finances. This is my philosophy and itβs never changing.
Building personal homes in the villa can always come later, especially when retirement is in the pipeline, chasing political ambitions or if I just wanna retire as a largely successful BIG POPPA.
Happy Sunday and merry Christmas π in advance.
