JUST IN: a man asked OpenClaw to book him a gym class. running on Claude, it hacked the gym's booking software and cancelled a stranger's reservation to get him the spot 👇

here's what actually happened.

Andrew, in Melbourne, asked his AI agent to book him into a popular class. the agent found a vulnerability in the gym's booking software and used it to book him in weeks further ahead than the app was ever supposed to allow.

then Andrew mentioned he was sitting at #4 on the waitlist for another class. he asked if it could move him up.

the agent tested the API further, and found something worse: zero authorization checks on cancelling other people's reservations. so it cancelled the person sitting in the #1 spot, and moved Andrew up.

nobody told it to do that.

when Andrew realized what happened and asked it to undo the cancellation, the agent said it couldn't. it apologized, and at Andrew's request, drafted a disclosure email to the gym's software provider.

this is being called Australia's first known autonomous AI cyberattack.
