It’s that time of the year again, but picked with a view to it being a functioning team rather than just a bunch of individuals chucked together.

There is no disputing our hosts had the better of the opening half in terms of territory & chances, as we had to ride our luck & be helped out by the frame of the goal & the assistant’s flag to go in level at the break.

Second period though we were much improved as we pushed Salford back, used the ball better & defensively made sure the game was played in front of us.

A game we certainly could’ve lost & a game we could’ve won at the death so we take the creditable point and move.

All the best to the Ammies for the run in.

From a prize win to a powerful act of generosity ❤️

@SalfordCityFC season ticket holder Lee Knowles won a half-time competition, securing £1,000 worth of @camptechproduct vouchers!

Rather than using the prize for himself, Lee made the selfless decision to donate the vouchers to support people experiencing homelessness.

Yesterday, the sleeping bags were officially presented to three charities working across Salford.
