Labour has introduced an Islamic blasphemy law via the back door — and it is already having a chilling effect on free speech.

The “anti-Muslim hostility” definition, formerly known as Islamophobia, is being adopted by police forces, prosecutors, courts and the NHS, as well as private-sector organisations and charities.

It will make it even harder to discuss the fundamental challenges we face, like Islamist extremism, and national scandals such as the grooming gangs, with those who speak out fearful of being branded “Islamophobic”.

As Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy says: “It’s a get-out-of-jail-free card for extremists.”

Not only did the Government appoint a working group whose five members had troubling links to Islamist organisations; it also deleted every response to the Working Group’s consultation. It is now almost certain that extremists were able to influence the drafting of the definition.

This is a major cover-up at the heart of government. Government departments are required to retain historical records of those who contributed to key consultations such as this for 20 years.

Angela Rayner has serious questions to answer. The British public deserves to know who drafted Labour’s Islamic blasphemy law.

It’s now clear Deliveroo's entire business model depends on sending dangerous men to people’s homes and funding them by enabling their illegal working.

An Algerian Deliveroo rider who was working for them illegally has been convicted of dragging a woman off the street and raping her for 17 minutes.

This is the latest horror in a long line of Deliveroo drivers attacking women.

Tesfagabriel Gebrzgabhir, an illegal boat migrant, pled guilty in 2023 to attempted rape and indecent exposure.

Muhammad Khan, a Deliveroo driver evading their pitiful 'identity checks' by account sharing, was convicted of brutally sexually assaulting a female customer.

She then tragically lost her unborn child.

Fuad Haddad, a Deliveroo rider, pled guilty to entering a female customer’s home and sexually assaulting her as she slept.

I announced the ‘Deliveroo Law’ last month to hold corporate bosses criminally liable for hiring illegals on a strict liability basis.

Deliveroo responded by claiming they "led the industry" in preventing illegal working.

I have written to Deliveroo's Board of Directors to demand answers as to why they keep hiring illegal migrants.

I also made crystal clear:

I remember when I first stood for election, the BBC sent a journalist to talk to local voters - just days before the election. They couldn’t find a single person who wasn’t voting Lib Dem. Not one. I went on to win the election a few days later. They removed the article and subsequently apologised.

At the start of the year, the FSU exposed troubling links between all five members of the Working Group tasked with drafting the Islamophobia definition and Islamist extremists. This included links to the Muslim Council of Britain and MEND — organisations with which successive governments have had a policy of non-engagement since 2009, due to their extreme views.

A Freedom of Information request by Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy has now revealed that the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government deleted all responses to the Working Group’s consultation.

Why would the Government do that unless it had something to hide?

Did Ministers instruct officials to delete the submissions?

Did extremists have the opportunity to influence a policy decision that would revive Britain’s blasphemy laws for Islam alone?

Why would the department delete— in an apparent breach of the Government’s own data policy —information that is a matter of historical importance?

The public deserves the truth.

If the government's proposals to tackle 'misinformation' became law, you may not have seen this coverage of the illegal immigration crisis from @PatrickChristys

They want to force social media platforms to promote news sources they deem "trustworthy", which will mean demoting those they deem "untrustworthy". It's not hard to imagine which category GB News would fall into, particularly when they are also redefining 'misinformation' to include political dissent.

1) She claims not to know the full details of the story. Yet this was a story across much of the national press *that day*. It spans her remit, why isn’t she across her basic brief?

2) How can anyone, who answers anything other than an immediate *NO* to that question, be anywhere near school standards?

I despair at what this country is becoming and I don’t want moronic people like this, anywhere near my child’s education. Sadly, the sector is full of ‘em 🤦🏼‍♀️
