The prominent Newark Quibell family to whom our school owes so much including it’s beautiful Prep building Highfield House, and grounds have a fascinating history. Initially in farming,they diversified into sheep dip, glue,disinfectant and later were druggists. @HighfieldsNG24

This is one of our most famous Old Highfeldians! Sqn Ldr George "Johnny" Johnson, MBE, DFM a retired Royal Air Force officer & last surviving original member of No. 617 Squadron RAF & of Operation Chastise, the "Dambusters" raid,1943. He was a Highfields teacher after the war!
