@gghoul I was excited about the new larger map, but after playing it, it just seems very obvious to me that they don’t know how to design maps around objective play. Their last 2 new maps since the original playtest have just been garbage with long LoS, hitscan and low TTK.

@PlayEmpulse Played about 5 games on it and then didn’t touch it again. Sniping too easy on it and super annoying to play against.

@BR1INFINITE Interested if spots still available. Got a few friends from the quake/team fortress/titanfall scenes. All washed up old pro players from the early to mid 2000’s that may be interested also. We still game together every day. All located east coast US. This is my 30th year in FPS.

@the_bassoon @tetsuoai @Steve3Chang Not sure when you quit so hard to give a full list. But bunnyhopping is basically a requirement. Medics immune to concussion effects now for constant conc jumping. Pyro has a TF2 airblast now. Scout has a dash. Pretty long list of changes even from the mid 2000’s to now.

It’s slowed down a bit over the last year or so but we had a couple world wide tournaments for about 3 years straight along with some draft leagues throughout the year. Very different game than it used to be nowadays though.

@DanSaulKnight22 @greyishpilgrim @DuBoseDefense @FrankieQuigs Respectfully, read into defensive coverages, blocking schemes, line shifts, choice routes, audibles, and motion plays. There’s a lot more on the fly thought that is occurring in American football than you may be aware of by a lot more than just 1 person.

@A_A_Leeder @SpriggyNeruda @Bungie The main takeaway here was the pride he had in his “gotcha” that a massively multiplayer online first person shooter was, in fact, not massive and was neck and neck with a niche hardcore extraction shooter. That’s not much of a W, but they are looking for any win right now.

What’s crazy is that most of the early to mid 20’s folks I have met in Destiny… totally normal compared to the ones my age or older. Something about this needs to be studied. What about destiny attracts this level of crazy?

There’s a section of the Destiny community that is just weird. I’m almost 40 years old and it seems like everyone I know or have met that is around my age or older are absolute man children. I’ve never seen the amount of whining about a video game than I have from these “adults”
