American "Conservatism" b.1964 - d.2008.
A faction of post-war liberals who were principally concerned with the GDP and expanding the American Empire abroad, as this was all necessary to keep FDR's New Deal gov't afloat.
This came at cost of exporting jobs and importing cheap, foreign labor, resulting in the complete social, cultural, and physical decay of middle America. (Nothing comes for free.)
Furthermore, with no real interest in ruling or any type of collective vision for the nation, "Conservatism" surrendered both to the corrosive, entropic, totalitarian ideology of hyper-Egalitarianism that is commonly known as "Wokeness."
Hope this helps everyone under 25 to understand what "Conservatism" is. Those of us who are older and witnessed conservatism's death in the middle-east wars and 2008 financial crisis, desperately lament that we did not support Pat Buchanan in the 90's.
@LewisHHenley@RettCopple "Live by the sword, die by the sword."
Trump's imperviousness to "being shamed" or humbled (by media & politicians) is what propelled his 2016 rise. This is also what has prevented him from admitting to and correcting errors leading to his 2026 fall.
Trump saw how the other Republican president this century derailed his presidency and destroyed his party with an unpopular pointless war and decided that heโd go ahead and do exactly the same thing
@binni_2025@MattWalshBlog Let me guess... the intel was provided by Israel? There is no way Iran would ever bomb Paris, Amsterdam or Brussels. They aren't going to nuke their fellow Muslims.
If in 10 years time, we are thrown in the gulags for thought crimes, as is the case anywhere in the West where the left has entrenched power, we will look back on Trump's decision to go to war with Iran as why.
Donors bought a war and now our sons face the gulags.
Simple as that.
What do regular Americans worry about in the first five minutes after they wake up in the morning? They worry about their kids. Their bills. How theyโll afford to pay the mortgage and fill the tank. They donโt worry about Iran or renovating the White House or any of the numerous other things Trump spent the last year rambling about. Republicans did not speak to the issues that directly and immediately impact regular Americans. They did not present a compelling plan to deal with those issues. Thatโs why theyโre getting crushed. And they deserve it.
The conservatives who said:
1) The war in Iran is catastrophically stupid
2) Affordability is a real problem
3) America First
Were exactly right on every point.
@TurnCARed2028@UtimatePatriot@Timcast He had some tiny victories. But he failed in every large, consequential way: (1) Stopped DOGE when they cooking. (2) Surrendered in MN thus killing mass deportations. (3) Bombed Iran instead of Israel. (4) Generally, followed "legal procedure" instead of seizing power & ruling.
@UCCavalier Okay, this was super long (way too long) but absolutely stellar. This paragraph in particular is so sharp and biting. Terrific observation. Bravo!
The official female insult playbook: incel, gay, small dick, and porn-brained.
It all maps to sex โ no sex, wrong sex, bad at sex, or being obsessed with sex.
It's the only unit of value they understand.
@SlewCityNFT@douglassmackey Christian woman rationalization process: I'm a "daughter of the king" thus daddy God wants "the best" for me. Therefore, it's against His will if I "settle" for less than the best.
It's putting God's stamp of approval on pure narcissism & entitlement. Pastors promote this.
@donvitosballchz@n00blet69@foreeeeeal Yeah, you didn't know marriage is strictly for amusement? Like a trip to Disneyland. It's not about building a life together in sickness and health, for better or worse, etc. If a man brings up things like logistics or responsibilities, then he's obviously toxic.
There is an important reason that the right never wins the culture war overall, despite the left being so poor at tactics that they often end up shooting their own feet.
That is the reality that logistics are more important than tactics, and tactics only matter once you have sorted logistics out.
The left has sorted logistics out by creating patronage networks, while the right refuses to do so because it's still controlled by a curious kind of boomer paleoliberal who thinks that "free market" means "everything should pay for itself".
Thus, both the cultural and political struggles of the right must be waged by broke young men as a side project to their careers, while fighting for the left is a career.
The young men fighting for the right are simply expected to purchase their own rifles, ammunition, uniforms and kit, provide their own transport to the front, then organize themselves into units to defeat the communists.
If you understand this, then you will understand why the retards manage to win a lot despite being retards.
The left is giving people 100K fellowships for writing lesbian novels, while the right is charging its own guys $200 to listen to some theoretical ramblings about the antichrist.
No, that's not a metaphor. I wish I had made either of those two facts up as some sort of hyperbole.
Only the left understands how to get and use political power.
The left understands that power is a form of currency. So if you want it, you have to buy it, with some other form of currency. Such as money.
The right thinks that political power is a side effect... something that you naturally accumulate while doing business.
Possibly this is because most wealthy right-wing people are investors. They start a project, or put money into it, and they expect to get their money back and then some. That's what they are used to.
That's how investment works.
But that's not how power works.
And if you have wealth, but no power, then the people with power will just take whatever you built.
I don't know exactly what the tech right, the business right, the wealthy right, should be spending on political power. But what they are spending is clearly not enough and in the wrong places.
Because George Soros sure as hell isn't selling people tickets to listen to him talk.
@MattATX81@curtis_yarvin You need a Warrior-King first. Which is how candidate Trump talked.
Unfortunately, President Trump is like the reverse Teddy Roosevelt: He speaks bellicosely yet carries no stick.
