@CountyPolk@mercernole2021 Would someone of a different race see these facts differently? There were non-white people on the jury. Also true that there were no black people on the jury. I don’t disagree with you.
But how can you interpret this differently based on race
I agree a lot, but think you’re giving him too much credit. He was old enough to know better. He chose to stay, he chose to grab a weapon, he chose to challenge, and he chose to respond to a push with a stab.
But I agree this is a broader tragedy. This kid lives in a nice area. Had a good school to attend. Plenty of advantages. Yet, he still lived in thug culture (images not at trial but share on SM with him with guns (and I do think the Metclaf brothers pics going hunting is very different)) and clearly was more concerned about HIS respect than he was about ANOTHER’s life. That is the crux of the case here.
It is bigger than him. But he is still guilty.
I also think he did have some control of the narrative. Can’t excuse him there.
I do think the end of the trial says a lot about his upbringing. His parents LEFT HIM ALONE for the impact statements and sentencing?
@3rdAndDegen Yes, let’s disclose to the White Sox, or the next team what the problem is in the bullpen
That sounds logical, doesn’t it?
The Braves have one of the best bull pins in the major league baseball. Sometimes it’s just none of our business.
Well, wicked witch of the west, since you watched the post game interview please tell me.
Spoiler Alert - the post game interview dosent tell anyone why a low leverage guy is pitching during the 7th inning, since ya know, the post game interview hasn’t happened while the 7th inning is going on
@BravesColdTakes I bet you don’t realize that the Braves are third in Major league baseball getting picked off at first base
And in prior years, they were criticized for not being aggressive enough
Guessing you’ve never made a mistake either
@brnt2470 Could you be more vague?
Assuming you’re talking about pitching, he addressed this in his post game interview and that everyone wasn’t available
So tell us what would you have done differently since you know
@jpsneed10 Because of one bad base running play? Since you’re being vague, it’s safe to assume that this is about the pickoff play at first.
Did you know that the Braves are third in MLB that being picked off at first?
While prior years they have been criticized for being not aggressive
@PTownBrave22 Who do you put a third instead? In the field, he has not been a liability.
At the plate he has
The pickoff play a result of the Braves being aggressive. They are third in mlb in getting picked off at first base. Past 2 years they were criticized for lack of aggressiveness
