Today marks one week since Noah last nursed. My body provided nourishment to my son for 1,116 days. I donated 4gal of milk to a mama. I endured pain w/o meds. I gave so much of myself.
I’m so thankful that my body was able to do such amazing things… but sweet lord, I AM FREE!!
Ya know we spell most of our cussing so that Noah doesn’t repeat it, but over the weekend he said “Jesus Christ that’s a lotta mess.” We aren’t encouraging the behavior, but he did use it in the right context.

Watching the New Castle/Tottenham game as a newbie soccer fan who really only knows #Everton w. Actual football fan hubs.
Me: It’s Richarlison against Anthony Gordon?! Who do we root for?
I guess if Richie isn’t playing, we have to go for Gordon.
Seems like a good plan. 😜
Olivia saying that it was a “split second decision” when we all saw her scheming with Michelle… & Jay just watching the plans unfold.
I can’t. If you told me I’d be on team #Nurys I’d think you were outta your mind.

It’s so weird to watch Jay and Michelle become like “kingmakers” b/c if you’re a challenge fan, you know they’ve done NOTHING to really earn it.
And that’s the disconnect: all these alliances packed with people who haven’t really proven anything

In February, I started my new meds.
In March, I took a leave of absence from work to really focus on my mental health.
In May, I started reading again.
Since the first week of May, I have read/listened to 70 books.
I don’t have a goal, but I feel like me again. 3/
After my mom died I stopped reading. I used to get lost in books… and then life slapped me and I could never quite find that part of me again. I read books… but not like I used to. I missed it, but I just couldn’t connect. 1/
I could reread books that I loved, but starting anything new felt like such a challenge. I couldn’t stay in the story and focus was just nonexistent.
I guess that’s when I really lost parts of me. 2/
