Quidditch Day - We had Chasers, Beaters, Keepers and Seekers, Bludgering and Quaffling around and wizarding their way to the Golden Snitch to earn points for their respective house. A day of co-operation, resilience, teamwork and FUN! The Ravenclaws took the title for 2024!
On behalf of the Y5 & Y6 pupils, staff and Oldfield community, we would like to thank PC McGuigan for all her advice, support and guidance to the children past and present at Oldfield Primary School. Thank you.
Thanks @EalingShopping and @Literacy_Trust for supporting the reading event. The children loved choosing their own book to keep. Year 6 child: “Before reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days, I didn’t like reading, but after I read a little, I now love reading.” @wimpykid
Year 5 & Y6 were very excited to be part of the 'Young Readers Programme' which is helping them develop their love of books and reading identity - reading for enjoyment! What a great selection of books to choose from and keep!
Congratulations to our Y5 Maths team. They did us proud at Christ's Hospital Year 5 Maths Challenge on the 8 February at The Guildhall in London. Look who they bumped into!
