@geoffjBYU@KalanisCalves The fair solution is a high federal sales tax. No other federal taxes period. You can exempt food, mortgages/rent and vehicle purchases under a certain threshold. Then the more you buy the more you pay. Those willing to buy pay more those not willing or unable pay less.
@geoffjBYU@KalanisCalves Biggest expense was property tax paying more than their old mortgage. I agree that they will find a way to tax to make up the difference but other taxes have ways to mitigate them.
@ToddLlewellyn@pestctrlguy This! If I politely say I’m not interested and they leave we are all good. If they open their mouth again they are not being polite and have lost their chance for me to be polite back.
@DevinD33 Anyone with that response doesn’t know what community even means let alone what it means to believe in Christ. It’s pretty important for people to sit back and remember how much God loves them and remember he loves everyone else just as much. Changes how u see and treat everyone
@FiredUpCoug When we lived in Highland we would get like 3 a week. I would just open the door and say no and close the door. If you let them open their mouths they won’t shut up until you close the door.
@GJMcClintock@bdfagan Ive been out of the loop and just learned about this. My mind is blown in how easy of a fix was missed here. This is a case study in how to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
In case you were unable to attend today’s game & see Jimmer’s Jersey Retirement
Here is the full ceremony
Brian Santiago, Shane Reese & of course Jimmer Fredette killed it!
So cool to honor him & hear him share about his ability to share the gospel with BYU basketball
I think it’s safe to say that’s an all time BYU hoops moment. 41 on 3 straight 3’s, all-time freshman record, to go up 19 on Utah. He’s out of this world
