Сердечно вітаю усіх зі святом Вознесіння Господнього! Сьогодні ми прославляємо євангельську подію, коли Господь Ісус Христос на 40-й день після Свого Воскресіння із мертвих видимо, плоттю Своєю, перед очима апостолів та численних учнів вознісся на небо і сів праворуч Бога Отця.

Вознесіння Господнє перевищує людське розуміння звичайного піднесення, переміщення, вивищення над іншими. Вознесіння Спасителя приводить не до віддалення Христа, а до Його незмінної і невід’ємної присутності всюди, де з вірою звертаються до Нього. Він не полишив нас, Він не далеко від нас. Навпаки, Він є з нами, Він є щоденно, Він є серед вірних, які збираються в Ім’я Його, бо так Він сказав: «Де двоє чи троє зібрані в ім’я Моє, там Я серед них» (Мф. 18:20).

І правдивість цих слів ми справді відчуваємо, коли світлом і радістю наповнюються наші серця у храмі Божому, під час богослужінь, спільної молитви, єднання у Таїнстві Євхаристії, під час особистої щирої молитви до Бога. Ми знаємо і відчуваємо: Господь наш Ісус Христос – з нами і посеред нас. І нині, і повсякчас, і на віки віків. Амінь.

The Crown was used in the Coronation of the King of the Romans, the title assumed by the Emperor-Elect immediately after his Election.
