Amsterdam airport police running after hundreds of climate activists blocking private jets while on bicycles is objectively funny https://t.co/nhiVnblHGg
It's heart-breaking to see so many of my former colleagues leave Twitter@. It was a special place to work that helped me grow, gave me new friends and perspectives. I love you, Tweeps. Wherever you land, you will make many other companies lucky to have you. 💙
@Elizaleary Holy crap I have been living under a rock... Didn't know that formula needed to be normalized!
How are women in the US supposed to have babies, go back to work in 2-6 months and continue to breastfeed exclusively when most work places don't even have breastfeeding rooms?
🤔
@jmoosman @Darlajeanv @MediaLawProf Here's data on average salary and take-home in Sweden: https://t.co/lRoJILAyJl based on this average the tax rate is 30%. The tax is progressive (like in the US) so higher earners pay more.
@jmoosman @cizlfab@MediaLawProf I attest to that. I earned and paid taxes in NYC (think high tax state), in London and in Stockholm. Yes, my swedish and uk taxes were higher but by 15% (percent, NOT PERCENT POINTS) at most. And believe you me, I get a lot in return for this very manageable tax increase.
@jmoosman @paulkrugman I can confirm that there is no grass growing in the streets in Sweden :) And having lived and paid taxes in the U.S., the UK and now in Sweden, I would pick the Swedish system out of the three anytime.
