I think, for all identical letters -и-/-й-, -у-/-ў- small changed design is better. They very often stand side by side, so it will immediately be clear that the inscription is artificial.

@gtypefoundry According to the school theory - yes, it should be like that. But you have to experiment with its size.

@gtypefoundry -ч- basically they don’t write like that, the connection -аз- looks like an artificial one, there should be a continuous connecting line. Perhaps it is worth considering an another -т-, it may be more logical in this font in some places (if we are talking about real handwriting).

@Xiaomi To be honest - a dubious event. It was possible to make a quality product in a year. And the new version of the application is raw. Force developers to use it in real life, not in pictures.
