Matt and I agreed on no cards, gifts, or going out. This morning, he asked if he could share what was on his heart. Then he did... and gave me the best Valentine I've ever received. That boy NEVER needs to buy me flowers or chocolate again!

Cece had a "hat of shame" for our pet rabbit to wear when he's been especially naughty. This morning he chewed through my laptop power cord *and* the shame hat. #wascallywabbit
*patient walks in the clinic without a mask*
*I approach them with a box of masks*
Me: โhi, do you need a mask?โ
Patient: โwell, I donโt NEED a maskโ
Me: โlet me rephrase that. Would you like to have therapy today?โ

@EllePalmer1 And please, please tell me how to help once she turns 18. How do we stop her from pursuing T on her own once she's considered an adult, when we know the brain isn't done maturing until 25?
Sincere questions from adults who want/need to help...

@EllePalmer1 Please, tell me how. We can prevent our 16 yo from taking T or having top surgery, and we do our best to show unconditional love. The world says that's not enough... we're told we "need" to show unconditional support for whatever she wants, whenever she wants. 1/2
@afscot @jejohnson322 Polarized grand standing has gotten us NOwhere. The showboating and blocking of bills and nominees simply because the "other" side wants to bring them forward needs to just stop. I can't imagine any other workplace that pays so well for getting NOTHING done.
