@RugbyRefereeNet This rests on you assuming that he is only allowed to create distance between himself and the ball to prepare for (not approach) within a set time. Is that the rule? Is he only allowed to move away from the ball once?
@BenjiNaesen Benji that’s slightly exaggerated. I ride in and out of busy areas a lot and whilst drivers can be annoying and impatient, most of the time they’re not.
@AdamMeakins Thanks! So if you were to follow the assumption re cycling that it (might) cause tight and shortened muscles eg hip flexors, an answer to lengthening might be to find ways to engage them eccentrically?
@AdamMeakins - where do you stand/what does the research say about adaptive muscle shortening? There’s a lot of chat about it in the cycling world, and there’s the classic “induced by sitting all the time” / “pelvic tilt” etc…
