Let me explain the reason behind this post…

Everything—absolutely everything—has to be viewed through a political lens. Why? Because the base has to be constantly reinforced with a sense of victimhood. They have to believe that, without the party, they would be left behind, ignored, and persecuted.

The goal is to make them see the world as dark and dangerous—an existential threat to everything they value. When people are taught to fear everything around them, they’re far more likely to cling to the people promising to protect them.

Who needs hope when fear keeps people loyal?
