Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has announced that his Adopted daughter, Janet Kaindi, is set to wed Elvis Kintu on July 14 at Limuru Gardens.

The announcement follows the couple's traditional dowry ceremony, known as Ruracio, which took place at Sonko’s home in Mua Hills.

During the event, elders from the Akamba Council of Clans officially received the dowry on behalf of the family.
