@RBReich Considering the pool debacle, has any independent group checked on the work at the despised ballroom? Is it worth the cost? We talk about tearing it down, but maybe it will fall apart on its own.
@FixingEducation Something I learned along the way: If the problem is not the problem, the solution will not be the solution. I don't think a lack of administrative personnel was ever the problem.
One could wonder if he is actively trying to make all the famous landmarks look as bad as possible for our 250th Anniversary. Please, Media, I realize a nation is not a person, but I'd like for America to be happy and hopeful on its 250th!
@gtconway3d@Dybuk4153 I disagree. The reflecting pool has an immediacy about it for us ordinary people. The whole Versailles thing is vague and symbolic and remote.
