Staying on Twitter, at least until #SecretSantaNZ2022 is done and dusted! With that in mind I like yummy treats, charities like @aunties_the, nice home or handmade things. Now to hope my own Santee posts more than their wordle results every day and/or google wordle merch.
@tinangata And related to after having baby (and will depend on the person/workplace) I really appreciated being invited to Christmas parties, leaving dos and so on. Made me feel connected as i knew I was coming back.
@tinangata A decent handover period with my replacement was really useful. I felt good knowing I was leaving with someone who knew what I’d been working on. But equally, the understanding that towards the end you might just have to pack up and stop working!

@cherrypiejay Ha I’m sure you can! It feels like people are very casual about it but I’m sure the agencies would have a good process. Keen to hear how others get on!
@cherrypiejay I haven’t, but friends have found good people on the Wellington Nannies & Babysitters fb group. I’m 50/50 on hiring anyone I haven’t met yet but maybe am an overly worried person. And our family options are slim.
@TuskCulture Insane eh. We’ve just gotten most things off trademe, but sometimes local makers advertise on Facebook and that seems better. But materials are so $$ right now!
Just a few days left to get over the line this film about Siouxsie Wiles and her incredible work in the face of a misinformation shitstorm.

@deborahjonesnz Absolutely love our Hungry Bin. It’s more of a worm farm so you can’t put all scraps in it, but it’s so much easier to deal with than our old compost bin!
