The ED in St Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire are promoting Sepsis on their educational board to coincide with the IEHG Sepsis campaign.

Sepsis promotion also takes place during huddles in the ED.

@Rheum2improve Completely agree. Single mum here working in ED. I actually can't face the same situation as last time which was the most stressful time due to lack of and cost of childcare

@DonnellyStephen Congratulations Stephen. Please dont forget those of us that put the public and our patients needs before our own childrens needs over the last few months. While many complained about home schooling many children of healthcare workers were alone due to lack of childcare.

@ciarakellydoc Black market childcare alive and well. Shocking prices I have been quoted for childcare to enable me to keep working in healthcare. We are obviously not all in this together

@1GaryGannon @SocDems single parents who work full time and receive no financial support from the state are already at a disadvantage entering the higher tax bracket sooner than married parents with same childcare and mortgage etc outgoings. Maybe this could be looked at also

@DonnellyStephen Hi Stephen. Have any plans been put in place for childcare options for frontline healthcare staff if schools and creches close? Elderly grandparents will not really be an option!

@DonnellyStephen Single parent family (working FT no benefits) enters higher tax bracket earlier than married family and also no home carer tax credit but same outgoings mortgage, lpt, insurance, fuel and high childcare etc
