@slmandel Is there any pre Saturday evidence of this protocol actually existing. This isn’t some criticism to be honest I’m really confused and would love to know
@galleddrim@conservaduck33 So if the program feed really does refer to the video review footage, why would they include the line about the broadcaster being unable to provide the imbedded game clock. The broadcaster doesn’t imbed the game clock into the replay footage
@galleddrim@conservaduck33 This statement is generally incoherent, but I think it’s difficult to read this as anything other than that. Like when it talks about “if the broadcast is unable …” it’s referring to the program feed. Hence, the program feed is the broadcast feed
@Dale14896397@3pointpod WMU should be awarded a win even though there was objectively 1 second left on the clock? I thought the scoreboard clock coaches and players rely on is what matters?
@ZachLinfield Can you determine in the video when the ball was snapped? Because if so you could time exactly how long after the snap the clock went to zero, then compare that to the frame analysis that found exactly how long the play took, just to clear up any remaining ambiguity
@RyanLodes@detroitTYLER_ Evidently it was pretty well synced then, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t have gotten out of sync between then and the second to last play
@MACBarstool The scoreboard clock had 1 second left when the play was over. That was always pretty obviously true, but atp that’s just a fact. If you think the NBC broadcast should take precedence over the in game clock players and coaches rely on then I don’t really know what to say
@MikeCagley You do realize that your argument is in direct opposition to what MAC wants. Like their whole point is that the actual game clock doesn’t matter, only NBC’s broadcast video of the game clock (which, as we saw on Saturday, is often wrong)
@SpartyOn72 I’m not a Michigan fan, but the issue is that MAC’s argument would render the actual game clock meaningless, with I thought everyone was against. Like at the very least I’d like people to be consistent
@daily_msu I don’t know how you’re still getting this wrong after more than 2 days. Like they are completely correct, you should really think about why it was so easy for you to be lied to
@DBardownsk1882@DarkoStateNews I’m not a Michigan fan, but I think it’s a lot more embarrassing that people like you are still upset days later about a 100% correct win. Like truth or evidence don’t matter when you have hatred I guess
@CFBGrids Do why didn’t you criticize MACs appeal? Their entire argument was that some other clock (the potentially inaccurate NBC video feed) takes precedence over what the game clock actually says
