Hello all! Letting everyone know that I'll be a guest at r/boardgaming doing an Ask Me Anything (AMA) this coming Friday (Nov 3rd) as 12:00/noon EST. Feel free to ask me about Pax Illuminaten, Game Design, or well...anything! @IonGameDesign Check it out! https://t.co/Yq4ms089Ok
@belltowergames@news4wombats Yes it did begin life as a Decktet game - and the core of it is still in there :). But the scope of the game has outgrown the Decktet by a fair margin at this point.
Kickstarter is live! Whoo, whoo! Take a look, ask questions, and spread the word with your people. Many thanks to all that helped the game get to this point! https://t.co/n68PjYRdwX
Excited to announce that my game Pax Illuminaten from @IonGameDesign goes live on Kickstarter October 24th! That's next week! So excited. Check out the linked pre-launch kickstarter page and share the secret with your accomplices ;)

The Kickstarter launch for Pax Illuminaten creeps closer. In the meantime, enjoy this little instructional learn to play video we assembled! @IonGameDesign#PaxIlluminaten Video link: https://t.co/mTfsA1KV44
Got my hands on a lovely prototype set for my WIP game "Rhine & Rhone" produced by the awesome folks over at @thegamecrafter. This is a Tigris & Euphrates inspired card game in a compact, crunchy package. Credit to Knizia as always! https://t.co/dgntE3qRv1
In other game design news, I finally got my Tigris & Euphrates / Yellow & Yangtze-inspired compact card-game "Rhine & Rhone" into playtesting shape (queue giddy excitement!!). I even wrote a blog about it! Credit of course to @ReinerKnizia https://t.co/dgntE3qRv1
@AlexanderMat@IonGameDesign LOL, no worries :) The artwork and graphic design is all my handiwork at the moment, but it will be worked over by the pros at ION games in due time :) Thanks for the feedback!
Super stoked to announce that my game "Pax Illuminaten" was picked up by @IonGameDesign for publication! 'Tis a small but crunchy historically structured game about the "real" Bavarian Illuminati (aka Enlightenment sympathizers) in the late 18th century. https://t.co/O0IPOHxG79
Because I'm crazy I made a Warhammer 40k Community "X-Edition" Survey. If you play Warhammer 40k please take a look at it. Survey is trying to tease out the things people liked/didn't like about 40k editions past and present. Enjoy! https://t.co/ytKmf3PXr7
@gemini6ice Agreed. I didn't really get into the whole "insert" topic either. Most games fit everything sleeved if you ditch the inserts. But there are cases where it's a tight squeeze either way.
