@Keir_Starmer A “mistaken release” isn’t a minor error — it’s a catastrophic failure of your government’s responsibility to protect the public. Letting a prisoner walk free isn’t a mistake; it’s a breakdown in control, oversight, and competence. You must take real accountability for this.
@natalieben Sadly, the days of small independents setting up in places like national train stations are long gone. The rents, deposits, red tape, and investment now are huge — all for margins that barely make sense. Big chains can absorb the costs, but for local businesses near impossible.
@UKLabour 24 hours after one of the most shameful errors of judgement in UK foreign policy for a generation. All to try and bail out his party from its own destruction.
These people are going out of their way to halt what has been a growing momentum to tackle climate change. They may as well buy a mountain of coal and set fire to it. How can anyone be so stupid?
@BladeoftheS A simple Google would have answered this for you. It is perfectly legitimate. You can have multiple descriptions registered with the Electoral Commission. The Candidate/Agent has just chosen not to use them in this circumstance.
The Labour Party has changed from a party that looked inwards to a party that meets the public gaze.
From a party of dogma to a party of patriotism.
With my leadership there will zero tolerance of antisemitism, of racism, of discrimination of any kind.
Lib Dem leader Ed Davey has made regular calls for public figures to resign from major public posts — 31 such demands are on his Twitter/X account since April 2019. Given what many see as his dereliction of duty in the sub-postmasters’ scandal he might look in the mirror for his 32nd. Just a thought.
Labour’s Sadiq Khan refusing to send non-ULEZ cars to Ukraine instead of scrapping them is disgusting.
In his reason for refusal, he recites a legal quirk to the Mayor of Kyiv…

I’m worried about a narrative that has been developing and I want to put this out there:
1. You can be pro-Israel and still care about people dying in Palestine.
2. You can be pro-Palestine and care about the terror in Israel and releasing hostages.
Both can be true.
