While Tian Fangran – the reigning NCAA singles champion – withdrew from this year's singles draw, she and Elise Wagle will take on the doubles bracket against Auburn's Ariana Arseneault and DJ Bennett. Neither team, ranked No. 13 for UCLA and No. 15 for Auburn, is seeded.

.@uclawtennis' No. 27 Kimmi Hance will take on NC State's No. 62 Anna Zyryanova in the first round of the NCAA singles tournament starting May 20. Hance is the only player set to compete in the singles draw for UCLA.

BREAKING: #UCLA women's tennis sophomore Tian Fangran has withdrawn from the NCAA singles tournament, per @JTweetsTennis.

Tian was the defending champion, but would have entered this year's tournament unseeded.

She was only the second player in program history to win the title.
