Writer, geek, obsessive reader, typewriter enthusiast. I spend about 90% of my free time hoping for fictional men to kiss each other and the rest making them.
@AlexanderNewall I don't know why, maybe because you remind me of a guy I went to school with, but I think you'd be either a theater actor or a gym teacher. And I think you'd be decent at either.
Yesterday on the Realms feed, we announced two thrilling new projects that are going to see Realms of Peril & Glory through to the end of 2024!

@naomithinksit Spicy food, the spicier the better, for me. Anything with ginger in it. And when worse comes to worst, shut yourself in the bathroom, turn on the hot water in the shower, and press your fingers hard against your sinuses. Feel better soon. ๐
@naomithinksit I may or may not have had a very specific dream involving Monty, Torbrennan, two characters from Dimension 20, and a couple of characters from non-recodded games I myself have played in...
@AlexanderNewall Feel better soon, and also, believe me, I understand. I once tried to run an all-night writing event with what I'm pretty sure was the Martian Death Fly, and the combination fever and sleep deprivation meant my futuristic paranormal romance now had Daniel Radcliffe and a panda.
And I have enjoyed every thrice-damned minute of it. (Seriously, go listen to this series, it's SO GOOD. It will break you in all the best ways possible.)
I finished in time for the finale! The amazingly adorable Orphaned Gearhead, Pyrex (and her robot friend Bags) from @RealmsPod's CY_BORG campaign, as played by @SBundell!
Just once I'd like to see a novel or movie where the aspiring musician (or artist, or novelist, or actor, or whatever) accepts the major contract and leaves the love interest and it ISN'T presented as the Bad Ending.
There's a moment in every music feel-good film where the aspiring artist turns down a major record deal for some noble but totally unnecessary reason, and for me it instantly becomes a horror film
The closest I've seen is The Jazz Singer (and the Warner Brothers cartoon clearly based off of it), so let me amend that I'd like to see this done a) more than once, b) in the modern day, and c) without the racism.
