Hey, @SwitchedOnPop and @ripthevergecast, I’m listening to the auto-tune episode and am surprised you don’t mention the Kelly G remix of Tina Moore’s Never Gonna Let You Go. I remember it as a radio hit in Europe the year before Cher’s Believe. Have the CDS
@petshopboys@TrafalgarRel@vuecinemas The Dreamworld movie was fantastic, but as we have heard from all over the world, the sound was underwhelming to say the least. Low volume, lacking bass and no surround. Is this the way it was intended? Will the blu ray sound the same? Or was something wrong with the film?
@chrisquigg@Pegasus_Books@seanmcarroll But reading the description on Amazon made me unsure. This description is a poetic description of the content instead of a concise description of the book. Maybe it’s because I’m not a native English speaker, but this description confuses me. Not very selling.
@chrisquigg@Pegasus_Books@seanmcarroll The Mindscape podcast made me want to read the book. I got the impression that this book is different from other physics books I have read as it tells the stories behind discoveries and the lives of the scientists rather than describe laws and equations.
@CastroPodcasts I have a subscription to a podcast that requires a login, but Castro says that I'm logged out. I can't find a way to re-authenticate. Is there one?
@SwitchedOnPop I’d say that “Rock Me Amadeus” from 1988 has an argument to make about the first “song predominantly featuring rap” to go to number one on the Billboard Hot 100. That’s especially remarkable as the rap is in German.
@daringfireball Why would we use VR goggles to get a large screen when we have a Mac? Well, iPhones have almost the same computing power as Macs. Would it be useful to get a large screen connected to your phone? With a large UI from Catalyst? Could Siri be made good enough to manage input?
@AppleMusic@Dolby Hej#t, @AppleMusic - did you remove the demo of spatial audio with Zane Lowe playing Marvin Gaye in mono, then stereo and last I. Spatial audio? I want to hear it again
@lensovet@daringfireball I’m with you 100%. But only the most initiated will put their phones away freely. For a larger societal change, phones will have to be replaced with something better, which I’m sure will happen one day. All pictures of people staring at their phones will look SO dated.
@daringfireball I have no idea what Humane is building, of course, but if they are planning to free us from staring at our phones so that we can notice the beauty of our world and each other again, I think that the video works.
@daringfireball I didn’t see an eclipse. I saw zombie people staring at phones in a world that is dark and grey because a giant phone is covering the sun. Our hero doesn’t have a phone, and sees the world come alive and be colorful as the phone moves away from the sun and lets it shine again

Hey @AppleMusic, The fantastic trailer for the super bowl half time show has us playing the Dr. Dre Behind The Boards playlist and there’s something wrong with it. The Eve song is not what the title says. The song that plays is Got What You Need, which is a Swizz Beats production
@applemusic Is there something wrong with the Atmos example Save Your Tears? I have Atmos always on and get the logo on now playing screen, but when @zanelowe says “Check this out” nothing happens. Cant even tell if the change is supposed to happen in fade up or on the next beat.
@helloweatherapp I like your app a lot, but I don’t understand the watch complication at all. It doesn’t even show the weather. Do you have any development plans for the complication?
@daringfireball If someone with an iPhone steals my bag (or bike) with an AirTag in it - will they be notified instantly that an AirTag is stalking them? Seems like the anti-stalking feature might be bad in this situation.
