The MSC field has lost one of the greats. Arnie was a dear friend and a mentor through the decades. He taught us with humor and a great passion for the cells we love, whatever we might call them. I certainly enjoyed being on his program project advisory board through the years.
I will miss him dearly, as will so many. 💔

We have some upcoming openings for postdocs and/or staff researchers in my group. If you're into gut organoids, coagulation, regenerative medicine, cell therapies, trauma, or neuroinflammation in Houston, then ping me.
I'm proud to find out that our recent summer student, Samantha Milewicz, was named a finalist in the @Society4Science#RegeneronSTS! Full list of finalists here: https://t.co/GymFkV23vm
Our @UTH_Pedisurg is impressed! Credit to @MicroBolden, Dr. Chuck Cox, and the whole lab!
Congratulations to BHHS senior Samantha Milewicz for capturing 8th place in the final round of the highly prestigious Regeneron Science Talent Search last night! #gobobcats
@UTH_Pedisurg 's Dr. Charles S. Cox Jr. acted as the senior PI, while @MicroBolden provided some fantastic hands-on guidance (along with support from the whole lab).
Congrats to Samantha Milewicz selected as a @Society4Science#RegeneronSTS scholar! Samantha worked hard to study MMP-9 mediated disruption of the BBB during TBI using an in vitro tri-culture system.
Got to say I'm frustrated that my preorder of two pixel watches from the Google store still haven't moved an inch and support couldn't do anything. #MadeByGoogle
We may be looking for a postdoc interested in cell therapies, neuroinflammation, microvesicles, regenerative medicine, Tregs, immunomodulation, neurotrauma, microglia ... just pick a few.
@dr_schriner had a lot of platelet flow, so I left my computer crunching @FlowJoNow overnight and did a 12.9 million event tSNE run using a few fluors. Pointless but pretty!
