Also, even if I agreed Zubac was on below-market great deal that doesn’t mean you should never sign market-rate deals

@VojaMedic The city owns the arena. They will also be profiting off of renovations for all of the other events held there. Portland has 1 pro sports team and it’s historically proven that losing pro sports teams significantly shrink that cities economy.

Carusso is 10 years older than Watson and has hit his ceiling (I still would’ve loved if Denver pursued him last offseason). Naz Reid is on $25mil (not 15mil)

@MolitorisNick Exactly. I would’ve been fine moving Val for serious assets but his contract is good value. I don’t see how this return enables us to get another contract with similar value.

I much rather would have tried to offload Kadri even if it meant sending draft picks to offload him
