@AFCMet@AFCDieHard Fans are so hard to please, you don’t create a dynasty overpaying on 29 year old players. Why do you even have a scouting team then? Where is the 23 year old Bruno. Buy me him. But fans won’t accept a “no name” player, they will say lack of ambition. You can never win with fans.
@dmbeastz Desire Doue doesn't do his part defensively. Please rewatch the goal by Pedro Porro vs France. The scorer was his man and he let him run right by...also did something similar vs Rice for the England goal in the 3rd place game. Also, he rarely tracks back when he loses the ball.
@aliladiere Remember Arteta is an employee. He's not the janitor, the president of AFC, the doctor, the marketing director etc...he doesn't get everything he wants nor is he responsible for everything that goes right or wrong. Andrea Berta has a job, and so does Arteta. Berta has work to do.
@TheJMB81@EduardoHagn As you see now reports are saying Saliba may not have to have back surgery (fractures typically don't). Players don't want back surgery, it can end your career very fast so it's not an easy decision to make as a player. If true it's potentially good news for the fans and him.
@TheJMB81@EduardoHagn Yes of course, and unfortunately only they know the severity. There's no such thing as a minor back issue. Once a player goes under the knife there is no telling if that same player wakes up after the surgery (e.g. - Saka's burst hasn't come back after hamstring surgery).
@aliladiere If, and it's a big "if" Berta gets a better target one who is better that Morgan Rogers it could always be a blessing in disguise. Let's judge when the window is over!
So far it's been the amount of money that he has been reluctant to spend on the two targets we have lost.
@eddywelbeck@EduardoHagn Don't forget potential player sales which creates more room. There are uncomfortable decisions yet to be made. After Tzolis is officially onboard Arsenal will only have 2 spots available on their 25 player roster (under 21's don't count). Arsenal want 2 high level attackers.
@AFG_0007@EduardoHagn@FabriceHawkins A team telling their player that he cannot play in a World Cup is just like telling a player he can't take an commercial endorsement to make extra money...
@EduardoHagn@FabrizioRomano Injuries are never good especially to key players, but the timing allows us to go into the market to provide cover. If this happened outside of the transfer window then it would have been a disaster.
@EduardoHagn Morgan Rogers seems to be best suited as an 8/10. I think he is being suggested as a potential LW because people don't want to say the obvious...he is coming in as insurance if Odegaard doesn't find form this year. Until then he is being called LW to avoid pressure to Odegaard.
@EduardoHagn IMO a good midfield requires these profiles.
1. A two footed attacking minded ball controlling number 10
2. A defensive minded ball destroying number 6
3. A ball carrying midfielder who can defend and attack when called upon
Arsenal would have two of the 3 if they get Bruno.
@TheJMB81@EduardoHagn Okay. FYI...team doctor's recommend....players decide. If the player trusts the doctor who is performing the surgery etc...then yes, he can then decide to have it done but that's all the team doctor can do...lay out the procedure, and the potential for correction, and timing.
@TheJMB81@EduardoHagn Yes, the French paper said it...but it's Saliba's decision, and I don't believe he wants it which is why this problem has lingered. He knows what this may cost his career...
