Dear Nigerians, PAY ATTENTION!

Imagine a Bola Tinubu in a room abroad having a powerful tête-à-tête with Trump, Starmer, Mark Carney, Macron, Giorgia Meloni, Sanae Takaichi, Friedrich Merz, & Christine Lagarde.

Like it or not, Nigeria is no longer the No. 1 among the Top 5 countries in Africa. The APC made sure of that. As far as the G7 & the BRICS are concerned: South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, & Rwanda are now at the top of the pecking order. Nigeria is trailing behind at No. 5.

You can see Kenya’s William Ruto sitting comfortably in there. You can see Egypt’s Abdel Fattah El-Sis there as well. In fact, Fattah just finished a one-on-one with President Trump.

India’s Narendra Modi is having a one-on-one with Trump as well. Now imagine Nigeria in this gathering. Nigeria wasn’t mentioned, not once!

Kenya hosted the “Africa Forward Summit.” You saw world leaders converge in Nairobi.

William Ruto is hitting all the right notes & stealing the show on the continent. He is in France for a follow-up. Imagine Nigeria in a room where world leaders are deciding the fate of the world. APC vuvuzelas said the reason why Nigeria no longer gets an invite to the G7 is because America no longer buys Nigeria crude.

Then they said OBJ got the invites because Nigeria just became a democracy back then.

So is Kenya a net oil producer?
Did Kenya just become a democracy?

How about Egypt, Rwanda, & South Africa? Did any of them become a democracy in the last decade? Who is a net oil producer among them? Egypt is now a net oil importer.

People should know when they are defeated! The truth remains that the APC gave you “relics from a deleted time.” They did so back to back!

While in Israel, Modi strongly reaffirmed India's support for Israel. The Prime Minister reechoed that “India stands with Israel.” In times of great trouble, leaders don’t sit on the fence.

The situation in the Middle East is fluid, & the United States is watching. By the time the fire has died out, USA will know who its allies are.

My advice to West African ‘rulers’ is to stay out of this. Focus on famine, power generation, inflation, currency depreciation, credible polls, & democracy. Remain neutral or non-aligned.

Conflict in the Middle East = higher oil prices. More cash for you to finance your budgets.

You have bilateral & multilateral loans hanging on your necks. You have trade agreements with America & the rest. You shouldn’t concern yourselves with wars & their aftermaths.
