Stigmatizing language against #PWUD is harmful at all levels of society, even among healthcare practitioners, law enforcement officers & social workers. It can have strong negative impacts on people’s well-being, create barriers to accessing treatment and other important services

The language used when addressing #DrugUse has a direct and deep impact on #PWUD. Stigma can be ended by using kind words that make it easier for people to speak up, to feel understood or to receive help.
