There is no basis for increase in the charges for Waec, it ought to have been free in the first instance.

In the UK, education is free up to college level, parents do not pay for any exam except those in private schools.

This lady who is advocating for increase in waec charges must be examined bcos I am not sure she is mentally stable.

Does she know that many students couldn’t write waec every year due to the high cost as their parents are unable to afford it?

I am aware that some students drop out in SSS 3 to work for like two years just to be able to raise money for Waec or Neco.

What is the basis for increament? Is high school a revenue generating establishment?

Let’s hold our government accountable and not to further exacerbate the sufferings of the poor.

What is the minimum wage in UK? Can an average worker in Nigeria earn what someone earns daily in the UK in a whole month?

Please don’t compare as people here spend out of surplus.

Ordinarily, pounds and Naira should be at the same rate, it it were, then spending N40 (£40)on your bear wouldn’t be an issue.

We are proud of our country but our Naira has lost it value . We have a long way to go on the standard of life of our citizens who are
always seeking opportunities outside due to hardship

Who knows whether she was brought to court from prison custody and wouldn’t like to go back.

Obviously she can’t afford the service of a lawyer to defend her.

She is lucky to have such option but it the fact remains that she has been convicted.

Minimum wage per hour here will buy that and you will keep some change but there people who don’t even earn upto
