It’s okay to come and talk about politics and ethnicity all week but know that beyond the good figures in the economy, poverty has increased at an astronomical proportion.

The gap between the wealthy and poor has widened and continues to widen

Socioeconomic inequality is at an all time high.

For almost 2 years after the removal of subsidies, this government still struggles to have a coordinated social safety net program, leaving millions languishing with no hope in sight

There is no effective wealth redistribution policy.

No coordinated fiscal plan.

Wishing and hoping for a great county is not a strategy.

You cannot ask that Nigerians be patient, rationalize over the good intentions of the ongoing reforms and then give the government a free pass on ineptitude, the lackluster performance of the cabinet and some of its profligacy.

Except you don’t understand the implication.

As of today, PBAT has made Nigerians poorer than ever. Giving him a free pass on ineptitude, dishonesty and the incompetence of his cabinet that hinders the capability to raise Nigerians out of poverty isn’t only unpatriotic but wicked.
