I think we need to seriously examine the idea of total submission.
Let’s consider someone like Osagie. “Half human, Half Oracle” He believes strongly in male authority and expects complete submission from his wife. He wants to make the decisions, and he expects her to obey without questioning him.

But, Osagie cannot provide for his family. He physically abuses his wife. He cannot adequately care for their child while his wife works to keep the family afloat. He keeps increasing the household’s financial burden by driving in bus lanes, driving without the correct licence, and accumulating avoidable fines. He chooses to prioritise building a house for his father over meeting the immediate needs of his wife and children all of these while his wife pregnant and working extra shifts to provide for the family, he is cheating on her.

Can you see this head is not correct, should this head be making decisions for anybody?

I get irritated when I see poor people having kids. Call it classism but why are you birthing kids in a one room apartment where you owe rent, you and your dearest hubby are struggling to eat, you cannot even afford diaper but you are having kids?
