This week the Washington State Department of Commerce announced $3.7 million in grants for 9 solar projects. Resulting in a total $6.1 million reduction in the energy burden of low-income households & nonprofits serving low-income communities over 25 years!!

HB 1046 – this is a community solar bill that Rep. Doglio sponsored last year. Unfortunately, due to the budget ramifications of Covid-19, it was vetoed. This bill brings it back, and makes improvements to get clean energy access to all Washingtonians and low-income people.
