Reposting this because I need to update it given present events such as the softening of the shilling and economic sanctions ( a.k.a) travel restrictions.

Brace for a difficult six months ahead with fuel prices and El Nino bringing some pain. https://t.co/6bJNOJCbrR
President’s Chief Economic Adviser David Ndii on the Dangote East Africa oil refinery:
— East Africa consumes about 20M tonnes of petroleum products annually, equivalent to ~400,000 bpd, versus potential regional crude production of ~600,000 bpd.
— The region spends more than $10B annually on petroleum product imports, including about $4B by Kenya, with ~$2B attributed to freight, insurance and related import costs.
— The 700,000-bpd refinery is expected to employ 50,000–60,000 workers during construction and inject about KES 2B per month through wages.
— Ndii estimates the refinery could add about 3 percentage points to manufacturing’s share of GDP, with associated petrochemicals adding another 2 percentage points.
— The refinery will require about 200,000 cubic metres of fresh water daily, with Lamu offering a deep-water port, industrial land and access to Tana River water.
— Ndii estimates the refinery and related activity could move Lamu into Kenya’s five largest county economies.

Dangote: “This project started almost like a joke. President Ruto invited me to attend a conference in Kenya, where we had a small meeting on the sidelines with him and President Museveni. That is where we first discussed the idea of setting up a refinery in the region.”
First of all, your social media outrage, boos, or cheers are completely useless to me. Nobody here feeds me, and if your knee-jerk emotional reactions made any difference, you wouldn't have that thing sitting in Aso Rock calling itself "president". Whenever you are done crying, you'll drink garri and shut up like you always do.
Second, for the benefit of the 10-15% of Nigerians who are still teachable and whose brains aren't completely rotted out by Nigerian Bantu Education and region-specific social media algorithmic programming, I want to ask a rhetorical question.
If like most Nigerians, you have no idea that General Sani Abacha established Nigeria's first and only nuclear reactor and nuclear research facility in 1996, the same year the US launched an urban bombing campaign in Nigeria and started giving arms training to Nigerian exiles in a nearby West African country ahead of a planned armed insurgency that was supposed to kick off in 1998 (I've personally spoken to at least one of these people), then what else don't you know about who or what Sani Abacha was?
What do you actually know about what his government represented to Nigeria beyond the same things you have heard for nearly 30 years? If it wasn't until as recently as 2018 that Nigeria was forced to give up its 1kg of 90% weapons-grade Highly Enriched Uranium which it obtained from China under the program Abacha's government created, and you had no idea when all this was happening, then what else don't you know about Nigeria?
Remember, the target audience of these questions is the 10 - 15% of Nigerians whose brains aren't already calcified and resistant to information. If you're part of the "I have 5 degrees so I am smarter than everyone else" or "I watch Gehgeh live streams" communities, kindly scroll past. This message is not for you.
So the US military put Ebola into airborne particles so animals could be infected by inhaling air. Vaxxed animals got hurt by inhalable Ebola worse than unvaxxed ones. Tony Fauci blows up, saying it all should have been classified to not undermine vaccine confidence.
🇳🇪 Niger at the UN:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, as I speak to you, at our northeast borders stand the proxies led by France, backed by Ukraine and 2 other countries."
"And you know full well which countries I mean."
"These proxies are armed, guided, directed, about to attack our military positions and our oil installations. But they will get what they deserve, inshallah."
"Our Sahel is at war. A war of liberation against a conspiracy aimed at its recolonization."
"What some call terrorism in our region is a cynical scheme of recolonization dressed in extremist rags."
"Niger's uranium, the gold of Mali and Burkina, lithium, gas, oil and so many other riches keep the old powers salivating."
"This perfidious destabilization of the central Sahel, led by France with Ukraine's active complicity -- documented, very documented."
"Niger's uranium lit up Europe's cities while ours stayed in darkness. This injustice has now ended. It is over."
"A people that has decided to be free cannot be recolonized, not by fear, nor by cunning, nor even by savage violence."
Why Ghana flagged and declined to sign the new USA Health Compact Agreement.
President Mahama disclosed that Ghana flagged several issues in a health compact proposed by the U.S. as a replacement for USAID funding.

This brings into focus the question about AFRICAN PRIOTIES; what are they? Let's put AU aside; DRC is a member of TWO "MIGHTY" regional Organisations- SADC and EAC. The former has 16 countries, and the latter has 8...
Has there been a regional approach to come to the rescue of our Congolese brothers& sisters? Like all the 24 "mighty independent states"; like coordinate approach in Medical workers, Funds, LOGISTICS, etc...
ANY?
Even if David Hundeyin sets himself on fire (which he already has) just to make you see, you’d still swear there’s no smoke.

NEW INVESTIGATION w/@earshot_ngo: In the early hours of 23 March 2025, in Tel al-Sultan, Gaza, two convoys of ambulances were ambushed by Israeli military personnel. Fifteen aid workers died in a hail of over 800 bullets; by the time dawn broke, Israeli bulldozers were burying the ambulances, seeking to conceal evidence of the attack.
The Last Responders tells the story of this attack in painstaking detail, drawing on interviews with witnesses from @PalestineRCS, digital reconstruction, and audio analysis of phonecalls made by the victims as they came under attack.
